3/19: Jimmy Gray, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce provided an update this week on some of the top issues facing the region. A recent court decision to allow a natural gas pipeline in the area will help attract massive investment into the region for the years to come. The tourism outlook for the 2026 vacation seasons estimates to see another 3% decrease as compared to last year. Sports tourism and Can-Am Days have helped create a buffer in the down years for summer vacation travel.
