The Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees 13-7 on Sunday to take a 2-0 lead in the ALDS.

Rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage set a Blue Jays postseason record by striking out 11 in 5 1/3 no-hit innings; with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hitting the first postseason grand slam in team history, and Daulton Varsho homering twice en route to victory for Toronto.

Toronto is just one win away from advancing in the best-of-five division series; Game 3 will have the teams heading to New York’s Yankee Stadium, scheduled for Tuesday night. The winner of the series will face either the Seattle Mariners or Detroit Tigers in the American League Championship Series.

The Seattle Mariners beat the Detroit Tigers 3-2 in Game 2 of their AL Division Series on Sunday at T-Mobile Park, to even the series 1-1.

Seattle’s Jorge Polanco homered twice, with the Mariners breaking a 2-2 tie in the eight inning with a double from Cal Raleigh, and shortly after Julio Rodríguez doubled home Raleigh – to give the Mariners the lead. Closer Andrès Muñoz retired the Tigers in order for the save to give Seattle the win.

Game 3 between the Mariners and Tigers is scheduled for Tuesday at Comerica Park in Detroit.
