Researchers in Germany say they have developed a blood test that can detect Alzheimer's Disease years before the symptoms surface. The medical journal "Genome Biology" recently published a story detailing the information from this study conducted by German researchers that states that tiny fragments of genetic material floating in our blood could be used to identify patients. The test was accurate 93% of the time in trials on over 200 people. The test needs further tweaking to perfect it before it is made available to all of us, but that is fantastic news! Let's hope it is made available to all of us sooner than later. Much sooner.
