Is our sense of security here on the Grand Strand shrinking?  Has the recent shooting of the CCU student from Bennetsville brought the outside world jut a little too close to our little corner? Are we all just a little more leery of the bad things in the world making their way into our little piece of paradise? The answers are; 1- perhaps, 2- definitely, and 3- we should have been all along. While we all pray for the young man gunned down so needlessly the other night, we should all take stock in the fact that we live in a place where, fortunately, this has not been as common an occurence as it has been in many other parts of the country. My message is simple..... be sure to tell those you love how much you love them EVERY CHANCE YOU GET.  You never know when it might be the last time you get to tell them. Just like the parents and loved ones of the young man who are grieveing  to day in Bennetsville. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
